SLOWLY the situation is improving through the support of Hands of Love UK, Hands of Love USA and friends in Germany.
Over a 100 children have been sponsored, as have some of the staff. |

So far a goat farm, a generator, a well, latrine, a medical centre, a hair salon and the basic shell for a four classroom block have been provided.

BUT only children who are sponsored eat on a daily basis - they also have clothing and bedding & most importantly they know someone cares about them. |

The other children rely mainly on what they and the staff can scavenge.
Once a month HoL UK aims to raise sufficient funds for a meal for all the children. |

ABOUT £1500 is needed to complete the classroom block. It still needs windows, plastering, shutters and painting.
A second toilet will continue to help prevent spread of disease, as would a purpose built kitchen – the current cooking facilities are extremely basic. |
