Our Achievements :
Toilet Block nearing Completion

The long awaited toilets should be almost finished. This has been made possible by raising the 2,600 pounds needed. With give much thanks to the following who made this possible:
The Corcoran Family from Eaglescliffe in Stockton on Tees raised 1,300 pounds during a Ladies Pamper Evening. (July)
300 pounds was donated by Lomond Platform B.P. (September)
800 pounds was donated from Falck Nutec. (September)
200 pounds was from other miscellaneous donations.
The first brick building is almost complete

The first permanent building for storage is almost complete at Hands of Love. Only 200 pounds more is needed so that this structure to store the medicine, supplies, school materials and other valuables can be completed.
Small goat farm established through donations made during Christmas Appeal in 2006 ("Buy a goat for Christmas")

Well - work completed in February 2007.
This provides clean water for Hands of Love school and the surrounding communities.

Medical Improvements - In February 2007, a medical team visited Hands of Love and decided on the high priority care for the children. All the children now have personal medical records and 5 of the most urgent cases have received treatment. However, we need to raise more money to ensure adequate medical care for our most urgent 50 children.

Building Improvements - At the moment there are only temporary open mud and stick structures which are used as classrooms during the day and sleeping areas for the children under the age of eight during the night. (More Photos Here)

However due to donations made by people in Germany, the building of the first permanent brick dormitory has begun.
